Lost surfboards were born in 1985 by Matt Biolos and a bunch of his school friends. They were all into snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing at their home break - Dana Point. They were not worried about winning surf contests they were ‘Team Lost’ and the distinctive logo that we see today was born. The now legend that is founder and shaper Matt Biolos began sanding surfboards in 1987 learning his trade straight out of School. At about the same time Matt made the first ever Lost Surfboard. And the rest as they say is history!
