The Luke Young mini zero is an adapted version of my popular zero shortboard model for small or weak surf.
The length is reduced, the entry rocker is lowered right down and the width is increased by half an inch, but you still ride the same thickness. This allows you to paddle into waves really early and once into them fly through flat spots with ease. The mini zero has a deep single concave running right through with a thruster fin set up and your choice or round or rounded square tail.
A great board designed for more performance in smaller waves or even a great first shortboard for those needing a little bit extra foam when they surf slightly better waves.
This board comes with composite lokbox fins. The great thing about lokbox fins is you will never rip a box out. They have Unequaled adjustability - 1/2" of movement to find your "happy spot". Unique tapered cavity - NO sloppy or wiggly fins! The FinLok - resists damage on impact.
LokBox has always been about performance. From the beginning they have always dedicated there R&D to designing a surfboard fin box and fins that perform as well as glassed-on fins.
All Luke Young shapes are hand shaped, finished and sprayed by Luke in his shed in North Devon.
